Going on vacation! - What's in your first-aid kit?

Yay! Its vacation time!

Lots of people ask me “well, if you don’t use pharmaceuticals - what do you take in your medicine bag when you travel?”

So I thought I could share an organized list with all of you :)

When traveling (especially with kids) I like to be prepared for the little emergencies that could really put a damper on the trip but can easily be manages with the right natural treatment.

I have my basic travel emergency kit and to that I add a few things depending on the season and type of trip I’m going on.

My basic kit contains:

Lavender essential oil – the king of oils. Great for almost every emergency from cuts and bug bites to headaches, sleeplessness and bad odors… it is a disinfectant, antibacterial and analgesic oil, among other attributes.

*Pain Away – great for muscle and joint pain, cramps, headaches

Coconut oil – perfect first aid to calm irritated skin conditions – dryness, rashes and chafing

*Ouch! – for all kinds of cuts, burns, bites and bruises – calms the pain and heals the skin

*Natural eye drops – for dryness, itchiness and even eye infection

Coriander essential oil or Fennel essential oil – for digestion related issues

*Pure lips – lip balm for dry or chapped lips. Also helps with any dry spots on the body

For long trips and air travel - *Protection Spray –supports the immune system and protects against germs and viruses

For cold weather - my *Sinus roller or Eucalyptus Radiate essential oil – for nasal congestion

For nature trails, hot weather and places with mosquitoes and bugs - Ouch! and citronella essential oil – to repel mosquitoes and bugs and to calm any bites burns or scrapes

and let’s hope you don’t need any of it!

Have a good and safe trip!

*All these products are made by me :)
